Pageant Prep Training
Welcome to your Virtual Pageant Prep!
This program is designed to help you feel confident and prepared so you can do your best at your state pageant. You'll also develop and strengthen life skills as you practice and learn more about what to expect pageant weekend.
The Virtual Pageant Prep is a "go at your own pace" course and there is no deadline to complete the program. It is a tool to help you and we want it to be an enjoyable experience. Feel free to come back to this web page as often as you would like to continue preparing. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to us at stateinfo@namiss.com.
This is a learning and growing experience! We (and your family) are very proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something new. Pageant Weekend Details
Pageant Date and Location - Click this link for the date and location for your state pageant:
Pageant Hotel - You are not required to stay at the host hotel but most contestants do because it is very convenient (get ready in the room, rest during breaks, store all of your items, enjoy the hotel amenities, and you don't have to deal with traffic, etc.) If you choose to stay at the host hotel, you are responsible for booking and paying for your own hotel stay. Making Online Payments:
Visit namestatepageant.com and click on "Make a Payment"
SPONSORS want to make payments?
(1) They can give you cash or write checks payable to you. You then make payments to NAM online with your debit/credit card, or
(2) They can write checks payable to NAM and you can mail them to us: PO Box 7561, Athens, GA 30604. Make sure the State Finalist's name is in the memo line of the check.

LESSON 5:
Sponsors
Step 1:
Make a list of family, friends, local businesses and organizations that you can ask to sponsor you.
Step 2:
Call these individuals and explain that you have been selected as a State Finalist for National American Miss. Tell them that our program helps girls grow in confidence and develop life skills. Express your excitement and explain you are seeking sponsors to support you. You can ask them to donate a specific amount or ask them to donate an amount of their choice. Here is a link that you can also email to them: SPONSORSHIP.
Step 3:
If sponsors prefer to write a check, they can make it payable to you and you can deposit it in your own account and then submit payments to NAM with your own credit/debit card...or your sponsors can write the check to NAM and it can be mailed to our office: PO Box 7561, Athens, GA 30604.

If your potential sponsor would like even information about National American Miss, provide this LINK to our national website, or direct them to our state pageant website: namstateinfo.com.
